Editor of the Publisher newspaper, Halifax Ansah-Addo was hit with a barrage of insults and criticisms from controversial Ghanaian singer Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, known in showbiz as Mzbel when she took a below the belt hit at him over false news report.
According to her, Halifax did not report what she said over her sexual affair with the boss of former Unique Trust Bank (UT Bank) Prince Kofi Amoabeng.
Mzbel in an interview on Accra-based Rainbow has disclosed that she never slept with Mr. Amoabeng.
She said she made the story up because she wanted to satisfy the media and speculations people had about her and the former UT boss.
She insisted that Mr. Amoabeng was only a friend who helped her in so many ways but never took advantage of her sexually as speculated by people.
But the editor of the Publisher newspaper on its frontpage dated September 18, 2017, captioned the headline “Mzbel fakes sex…with Kofi Amoabeng.”
The female musician in reaction to the publication said “Halifax people are tired of stories about me and Mr Amoabeng this and that….so if u are looking forward to hit the jackpot with this nkwasiasem like u did in the past for “News One” newspaper then abeg the future of your “PUBLISHER” will be like that of “News One.
“What a jerk! Rainbow Radio has the full audio of my interview online and I never said anything stupid like u claim! Kojobasia p3 ejuma din bi nay3 nay3n fr3 wo barima! Buulu.”
