The Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Koku Anyidohu will be released later today if there is no new development in his case by the Ghana Police Criminals Investigations Department (CID) according to his party’s Leadership.
“He will be released today by 1:00 pm this afternoon … the 24 hour elapses today and we hope he is released this afternoon”, Deputy Communications Officer, Kweku Boahen confirmed.
The outspoken Deputy General Secretary of the NDC is being charged for treason after his arrest by personnel of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service on Tuesday at the International Press Center for treasonable comments.
