The Hit Maker Second Edition winner from Koforidua on the Late Night Celebrity Show revealed that he was paid with a bottle of Coke and a bowl of rice for playing shows before he became a hitmaker.
Koo Ntakra who is born as Isaac Akuffo speaking with Eddy Blay on The Late Night Celebrity Show described how life was before he became a hitmaker.
With no support the upcoming art had no option than to perform at weddings and funeral after which he was given a bottle of coke and a bowl of rice for his work done.
He said “back then it was not easy to get a show to perform, I was mostly called to perform at weddings, funerals and “out doorings” after the performance you will get no transportation but they might give one coke and some rice.”
Laughing out loud with the host He added, “sometimes they will say, you go I will call you and I will be like ‘oh please Kindly find something small for me this is what I do for my daily bread oooooooo’.”
Koo Ntakra giving thanks to the opportunity Hit Maker gave him said, “after the Hitmaker I get my coins small small”.
Koo Ntakra has dropped his second album dubbed “K o K” which means “King of Koforidua” and is currently pushing and shooting videos from the album.
