The Ghana Premier League is at a standstill as a ban has been placed on football activities by the Attorney General after being granted a court injunction.
Players have since been inactive which has become a problem for all stakeholders.
In the wake of all these, the former Kotoko captain has voiced out his take on the matter
“Players and club owners are really suffering because of the absence of the league. We have nothing meaningful to do now. It’s not easy because football is all we know”, he told Ohene Bampoe-Brenya on Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports
Amoako pleaded with the government to put in place immediate measures to have football back in the country
“I am pleading with Government to soften their stands. Those captured in the video must be dealt with and allow those who are innocent to continue with their work.”
