Controversial dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah who is widely known in the music circles as Shatta Wale is coy to disclose his political ambition.
During an interview with DJ Advicer on Happy FM’s Ayekoo After Drive show, the Shatta Movement capo was quizzed if he holds any desire to venture into politics in the near future.
The ‘Freedom‘ hitmaker stated; “It depends on what’s going on in the country, if it’s not violence and I like the way things are going, so you know, you will never know.”
“But I know some people will say this guy always flaunts his cash so he doesn’t deserve to hold a public office but I see it as nothing bad because Mayweather does it, Meek Mill does same so I see it as nothing bad.”
“I’m a real guy so I do everything real”. If you see those artists who come and say me I don’t like doing what’s he is doing, tell them I say they are lying because they don’t have some to show it to the world.”
Shatta Wale is currently on a media tour promoting his upcoming ‘Reign’ album – which is scheduled to come off on Saturday October 13, 2018, at the Fantasy Dome at the Ghana International Trade Fair.
