Ghanaian songstress Efe Keyz has recounted how she was lured into a romantic relationship with ‘Juju’ when she was a teenager.
In an interview on e.TV Ghana’s award-winning entertainment show ‘The Late Nite Celebrity Show’, she narrated how she abandoned school to be with a man.
“I met this guy back in school, KNUST. I was about 18 or 19 years old and I fell in love with him.” She said.
She added that “My parents know me to be a girl who doesn’t pay too much attention to men. The boyfriend kind of thing was never my thing, but this guy really got deeper into my system so much that my parents became aware of it.”
“That’s how far it went and I almost ditched school for him,” she told Foster Romanus, host of the show.
According to Efe, she believes the guy in question used something out of the ordinary to get her to love him so much because she could not even remember what exactly she liked about him.
“I was so much into the guy but I don’t remember what exactly I liked about him. I don’t even remember whether he was handsome. I look back and I’m like what ‘koraa’ did this guy do to me that I was so much into him”
“Charley this ‘for boys’ or ‘for girls’, might be working ooo” she said.
This story actually inspired her new single ‘Juju’ which is currently enjoying airplay.
