Actress Roselyn Ngissah has shared what goes into her kissing scenes and advised actors and actresses to be health conscious when it comes to kissing in movies.
In an interview on Ghana’s number one entertainment talk show on e.TV Ghana, The Late Nite Celebrity Show, the actress revealed that the few kissing scenes she has played have all been unreal as compared to the passionate kisses she shares in real life.
“I hardly do romantic movies but with the little that I have done, the first thing I ask is who am I playing this with, it’s very important. I always act kissing, because a lot is involved when I’m kissing for real, and that expression when I’m kissing for real, I don’t give it all out when I’m acting, that’s why I said I act kissing,” she explained.
On a more serious note, Roselyn gave a piece of advice to actors and actresses.
“I think what we actually should be looking out for is actors immunizing or vaccinating themselves against ‘herpes’, ‘hepatitis B’ and the rest since you can get that through kissing. You might get someone whose lips are sweet, but you don’t know what he is carrying so I feel the health aspect must be checked,” she cautioned.
Many have always wondered what really goes into kissing in movies, wanting to know whether or not those playing the roles enjoy these scenes, as they would be enjoyed in real life. Well there you have it, these are some experiences and concerns shared by some of our actresses. It is not all fun like we see on our screens.
