Winner of Mentor 3 TV music reality show, Erico, has expressed his disappointment in the gospel music fraternity for neglecting him when he was in his sick bed.
On DJ Advicer’s Ayekoo after drive show on Happy FM, he recounted how nobody from the music industry bothered to find out how was faring, especially those from the gospel fraternity.
“I didn’t get anyone to visit me. The gospel fraternity did not delegate anyone to even come visit and find out how I am doing. Apart from Ohene Ba Clement, who has always been like a brother to me, nobody even picked a phone to call me and ask about how I’m recovering,” he said.
He praised the hiplife musicians for being more supportive of their own than the gospel musicians.
“Unlike the Hiplife musicians, even when it seems like they are fighting, they still support each other. What I’m saying is deep and someone might say I’m not right to say that but a deep thinker will understand that. I’m talking from a painful experience. Right now I’m doing well,” he asserted.
Erico launched his fifth album titled ‘M’anyawu’ in April last year, which literary means ‘Close shave’.
