Highlife legend KK Fosu after calling former protégé D-Flex selfish and ungrateful has apologized for his utterances according to D- Flex.
On e.TV Ghana’s entertainment talk show, ‘The Late Nite Celebrity Show’, he disclosed that he was surprised and hurt to have heard KK Fosu refer to him as an ingrate since the two were cool before KK’s interview.
“My God and KK is the reason for being here because my first trip to the United States it was KK who helped me, so somebody like that how can I be ungrateful to him. I met him in the United States 6 months prior to my return to Ghana. When I got to Ghana I called him and we had a chat where he advised me to get back into singing since that is what is making waves now, so I should kill them with my voice,” he disclosed.
“After that chat, he didn’t even invite me to his launch or concert but I was cool and later I heard this. I got hurt but it was alright. I understand because he might have been in a situation that got him into a bad mood,” he added.
According to him, in his attempt to solve issues between him and his boss KK, he called him severally to no avail. A simple text is what did the magic eventually.
“After that, I called him like twice but he did not respond so I sent a text message. A couple of days later he texted me back and he apologized, so we’re cool,” he revealed.
D-Flex was featured on one of KK Fosu’s major hit songs, ‘Number One’.
